The debut EP by collaborative post-rock band Winter At Sea, featuring members of Flies Are Spies From Hell and Monsters Build Mean Robots.
Unfound presents Winter At Sea at their most spacious - a soft oceanic tide ebbing and flowing against the rocks in the tranquil glow of the moonlight - an EP that oozes with beautiful melodies and a comforting atmosphere.
The group were inspired by feelings of solitude and wandering lost through life without direction, but then finding like-minded souls to band together with along the way - and these feelings are truly evoked by these yearning, mournful soundscapes.
"Post-rock with a particularly fine sense of detail, tinged with sounds at the crossroads of folk, ambient and neo-classical." Totoromoon
"Acoustic guitars, piano sounds, strings and siren-like singing join electric guitars and drones... One to let your mind float." 4NDREAS.Postrock
"A gorgeous record that requires one to take the time reflect, digest and mediate on its components and how it effects one's psyche as it adapts and gracefully evolves." Noizze

Every once in a blue moon you come across the perfect album... a transformative experience from beginning to end, not a hair out of place. I did not expect to discover this little known gem, but now I will cherish it forever. tetheredhands
Airships on the Water return with another LP of phenomenally textured post-rock, moving from tender passages to well-earned crescendos. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 13, 2022
"the beautifully layered, very dreamy and elevating sound of the French group, which effectively utilizes voice samples to underline its score nature, sits comfortably between the likes of Mono and Bruit ≤ and has enough profound substance to easily carry you on its waves if you let yourself fall into it. Unless you're a mermaid of course."
