Fauntleroy are a 2 piece instrumental prog band from the borders of Surrey and Hampshire. We like smooth soul, Larry Graham funk and some jazz chords (but not all). Together we write songs and perform a live show which plays strongly on eye contact, communication and charming charisma. We like to see an audience enjoy themselves, laugh and sometimes even dance. Multiple and excessive guitar changes punctuate our set like awkward pauses pepper conversations with casual acquaintances.
Disaster Tribute is from our latest EP On First and On the Floor. It's a tribute to one of our favourite bands - The Mirimar Disaster, a heavy and now sadly defunct band form Sheffield who were an incredibly exciting and tight live proposition. This song features us both shouting at the end of the song, our first and to date most successful venture into the realm of adding vocals to our recordings. Please enjoy.

The version of 'Every Country's Sun' is so grand and full of pride and loss that it should be over Match of the Day highlights when Scotland get kicked out of major football tournaments.

Sleepmakeswaves is one of the best bands out there that blend ethereal tracks with other tracks with beautiful interlaced guitar playing, as if both players are feeding off of the energy of the other, creating a massive and powerful energy that cannot be stopped! This is one fantastic record, and is easily one you can put the whole album on and love every single song. Charlie Mayer
